How to replace the Turn Signal Switch on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Start the replacement of the Multifunction Turn Signal Lever by turning off the SIR system. Move the cover in front direction to disconnect the component from the car. Slide the lever into its position while keeping the lever straight and turn it clockwise 1/4 turn before removing it. Connect the electrical wiring to its place while wiring in the connector. Hook the lever into place after pushing it straight inward and rotating it a quarter turn to the left against the switch. Reinstall both parts and turn on the SIR system.
