How to replace the power window switch on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

Start switch replacement by using a flat-bladed tool with a 13 mm width to lift the rear part of the trim plate. Insert the flat-blade tool 19 mm (0.75 in) into the door trim to disengage the retention clip before using force to push the tool towards the switch plate for the lf door while disconnecting electrical connectors. Users should press the tool against the switch plate toward the rf door to disengage the retention clip. This prevents damaging the switch plate. Pull the tool upward while pressing towards the plate and partially detach the switch plate then disconnect the electrical connector before removing the switch plate. At the rear of the switch plate you need to carefully use a tool to pop loose the Power Window Switch, power Mirror Switch and memory function switch. Mount the memory function switch together with the power Mirror Switch and Power Window Switch to the switch plate by pushing them into the locking tabs. After connector attachment proceed with switch plate installation through placing it straight into the trim panel armrest while solidly pressing it to lock the retention clips at both ends.
