  A: Service on the air injection pump for bank 2 requires operators to first raise the vehicle while they remove the retaining screws from the front section of the left front wheel well/splash shield. You can lower the splash shield for air pump assembly access after releasing the air exhaust hose pinch clamp to disconnect the hose from the pump. Take out the air inlet hose/filter assembly from the air pump then disconnect the electrical connector from the pump. Customers must lift and pull the air pump from the cradle bracket after removing the upper air pump to cradle bolt and lower air to cradle bracket nuts. The installation of the lower air pump bolts/nuts begins by placing them through the cradle bracket before pushing it down. Next install the upper air pump to cradle bolt with a torque of 9 n.m (80 lb in).
