How to service the water pump on 2000 Chevrolet Corvette?

In order to service the water pump, unplug the negative battery cable and sensor connectors. Take the air intake assembly and drive belt out. Draw out the cooling system, disconnect hoses and water pump bolts. Wipe down surfaces, replace gaskets and reconnect parts. Fill up the cooling system, re-connect it, and look up leakages.
