Parking brake cable Service- To repair and service the parking brake cable, unscrew the adjuster nut and take off the parking brake lever trim bezel. Unplug the cable of the equalizer plate, lift up the vehicle and remove the rear tire. Unplug the cable to the shoe lever, and then re-fit the components and calibrate the parking brake.
