How to replace the blower motor resistor (RPO C69) on 2000 GMC Safari?

Start replacing the blower motor resistor (C69 model code) by taking off the left body panel and disconnecting the electrical connection. Flush out the screw holding the blower motor resistor case then take off the component. Insert the new blower motor resistor into its case and fasten it with screws before tightening them to a torque specification of 2 N.m. Place and secure the left body side rear trim panel back to its place after connecting the electrical connector.
