How to replace the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor on 2001 GMC Safari?

Begin replacement of the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor by removing the left body side trim panel followed by disconnecting the electrical connector. Inserting a screwdriver to remove the screws holding the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor assembly allows for the assembly to be extracted from the heater case. When installing the auxiliary heater blower motor resistor assembly reposition it into the heater case but always refer to the Fastener Notice for detailed instructions. Install the left body side rear trim panel after restoring the electrical connector and securing the assembly with 2 N.m (18 lb in) torque for the screws.
