How to replace the evaporator core on 2001 GMC Safari?

To change the evaporator core, release the air cleaner, recycle refrigerant and remove a coolant reservoir. Unscrew electrical connectors, unscrew compressor hose assembly, and bracket of bypass valve. Take out the evaporator tube, outer case and divide the evaporator module. Install the new core, reconnect and reassemble components. Lastly, replace coolant and install the air cleaner.
