Start by removing the rear door opening frame garnish molding before changing the rear door latch striker (Upper). You need to remove the three bolts which attach the rear door upper striker to the door opening and afterward extract the striker from its position. Place the rear door upper striker into the door opening then lock it with three bolts that should be tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb in). You must install the rear door opening frame garnish molding as the final step.
