The sensor o-ring needs replacement inspection to check for wear signs and leakage as well as cracking. Users must apply engine oil to the o-ring before repair and substitute it with a new one if it shows signs of damage. Mount the cmp sensor onto its position while securing the retaining bolt at 8 n.m tension (71 lb ft torque). Reinstall the Power Steering Pump after connecting both the cmp sensor electrical connector.
