How to replace the front side door window regulator on 2001 Buick LeSabre?

You can replace the front side door Window Regulator after taking out the door trim panel and unfastening the water deflector to reach the window clamp bolts. Start by taping down the window and then turn the window clamp attachment bolts through four holes that are accessible on the inner door panel. Lower the window tenaciometrically to three-quarters of its downward motion before disconnecting the power connector from the regulator motor and unfastening the Window Regulator to inner door panel attachments number one through three. Place the Window Regulator into the door before securing fastener to 9 n.m (80 lb in) and then fastener until it reaches 9 n.m (80 lb in) while leaving fastener for the last step at 9 n.m (80 lb in). Lower the window sheet into Window Regulator clamps keeping the glass completely at the back of the channel until the tape holding the window is removed. Use the vehicle start to activate the maximum motor power then elevate the window to its maximum height position. Fasten the window clamp fasteners to 11 n.m (95 lb in) while checking the window functions and glass area for a tight seal before adding the water deflector and door trim panel.
