How to Replace the Right Blend Door Actuator on 2001 Buick Regal?

Before replacing the right air temperature actuator start by removing both the right side instrument panel insulator and the instrument panel compartment. Begin by removing the electric actuator from the harness and next unscrew the retaining hardware to free the actuator. The right air temperature actuator must be positioned while aligning electric actuator driver slots to shaft flats and locating hole to HVAC module case alignment for installation. Push the actuator driver down the shaft until it becomes completely seated along the mounting holes which need to match up with the bolts on the HVAC module case. Fasten right air temperature actuator screws while maintaining a torque of 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) over several turns. You must both reconnect the actuator's electrical connector and reinstall both the instrument panel compartment and right side instrument panel insulator. Finally, re-calibrate the actuator.
