How to replace the LH Blend Door Actuator on 2002 Buick Regal?

Replacement of the left air temperature actuator requires initial removal of both the left instrument panel insulator and knee bolster. Begin by disconnecting the electrical connector from the left air temperature actuator and afterward remove the mounting screws to extract the actuator. Position the new left air temperature actuator by matching its slots and the electric actuator driver to the shaft's flats and the locating hole to the alignment pin on the HVAC module case. Slide the actuator driver over the shaft until it reaches full seat position while keeping the mounting holes matched against the HVAC module case bolts. Fasten mounting screws to 1.5 N.m (13 lb in) torque before reconnecting the electrical connector to the actuator. The knee bolster joins with the left instrument panel insulator followed by actuator calibration.
