  A: Before working on the Turn Signal Switch you need to deactivate the sir system. Unscrew the screw caps and remove the screws from the upper steering column before taking off its cover. Lift the steering wheel tilt lever and rubber sealing from the lock cylinder for access. Take out all screws and then take off the lower steering column top. Press the tabs to let the Turn Signal Switch slide out of the steering column and detach its electrical plug. Plug the electrical wire into the Turn Signal Switch and insert the assembly onto the steering column when you see the locking clamps mesh into place. Place the lower Steering Column Cover and tighten its screws after setting the rubber cover on the lock cylinder and the tilt lever for the steering wheel. Put back upper steering column parts and use screws to connect them. Afterward replace the screw caps to enable the sir system.
