How to service the rear door stationary window and division window channel on 2001 Cadillac Catera?

You must remove the door trim panel along with water deflector, inner and outer belt sealing strips, and door window Weather Strip to access the stationary window and division channel of the rear door. After removing screws from the window and division channel you need to pull the channel away from its position on the stationary window and rear door. Following this step detach the channel Weather Strip before taking out the stationary window from the door. Start by inserting the stationary window into the rear door before adding the division channel Weather Strip and window/division channel items. Make sure the division channel seats smoothly on top of the window. Secure the window division channel screws at 7 n.m (62 lb in) then fit the door window waterstrip and add all other components in order: outer belt seal strip, inner belt seal strip, water deflector and door trim panel.
