The sway bar shaft insulator installation requires facing its slit forward on the shaft while bending the sway bar shaft bracket to enclose the insulator before clamps should be replaced if needed. Prior to applying the bracket bolts the sway bar shaft needs to be positioned correctly at its center. Construct the sway bar shaft bracket bolt installation by driving it to a torque of 51 Nm (38 ft. lbs.). Finally, lower the vehicle.
