How to replace the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) on 2001 Cadillac DeVille?

Raising the vehicle is essential before replacing the Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS). Unplug the electrical connector from the vehicle speed sensor. Twist and pull out the sensor (130) by turning it as you remove the retaining bolt (131) for extraction. Get a new O-ring seal ready and position the vehicle speed sensor (130) first. Insert the retaining bolt (131) and tighten it to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). Attach the electrical adapter at the sensor and allow the vehicle to return to ground level.
