How to replace the front door window motor on 2001 Cadillac Eldorado?

To change the front door window motor, take the counterbalance spring to the vehicle and then remove it. Take out the door trim panel, water deflector, unscrew the electrical connector and take out the motor. Fit the newly installed motor, re-connect the electrical connector and re-fit the water deflector and the door trim panel.
