How to replace the brake line using the J 29803-A ISO Flaring Kit on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?

Use the J 29803-A ISO Flaring Kit to install double-walled steel brake pipe because this method prevents brake system failures. Start the process by buying the recommended steel fitting nuts and brake tubing then measure and cut one and 3mm additional length to the old pipe measurement. Fit the pipe ends to the tubing followed by de-burring the inside and outside diameters and cleaning all lubricants off the brake pipe and flaring tool. Set the flaring tool in a vise and choose the proper size of collet alongside forming mandrel for the specific pipe diameter. Use the forming mandrel to enter the tool body. Grasp the mandrel and wind the forcing screw forward until it touches at the surface before making one full revolution back to the start position. Press the clamping nut onto the brake pipe until it reaches the selected collet and leave at least 3/4 inch (19 mm) tube exposed. Fit the collet into the tool body until brake pipe end faces the forming mandrel surface and clamp it by tightening the nut strongly. Tighten the forcing screw slowly until it reaches the limit without crushing the flare edge through excessive force. After undoing the clamping nut you can separate it and the collet to work with the finished flare. Finish the new pipe by shaping it to match the old piece but keep 19 mm (3/4 inch) space between it and moving parts.
