How to replace the Heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) Bank 1 Sensor 2 on 2001 Chevrolet Camaro?

To replace the heated Oxygen Sensor (HO2S) bank 1 sensor 2, you need to make sure that the vehicle is lifted and safely supported. Remove the ho2s electrical connector and slowly retract the heated Oxygen Sensor while ensuring that the threads of the Exhaust Manifold or Exhaust Pipe do not get damaged especially when the engine is operating below 48°c (120°F). When installing the new sensor, apply the anti-seize compound p/n 5613695 on the threads since this special compound will include graphite and glass beads that will make the removal easier in the future. Hand start the heated Oxygen Sensor and tighten it to 42 n.m (31 lb ft) and reconnect the ho2s to the electrical connector.
