Then remove one bolt and clamp which secures the front pipe to the three-way Catalytic Converter (TWC). Finish by taking out the two bolts which attach the twc to the muffler/tail pipe assembly. Detach the hangers from the twc's back end before you pull out the twc from the vehicle. Clean down the gasket as well as the mating surfaces of the twc before installing your new unit. Secure the twc to the vehicle through the front clamp and one bolt and the rear using two hangers .
