Start by taking out the gasket and two bolts securing the front pipe/three-way Catalytic Converter (TWC) assembly then deal with the two bolts and hanger on the Muffler. Before installation begin by taking out the Muffler/tail pipe assembly from your vehicle while you clean the areas where the seals connect. To install the Muffler/tail pipe assembly bolt it up to the front pipe/twc assembly with a new gasket using two bolts while you should tighten them lightly with your fingers. After applying the hanger to the Muffler you should bolt it down using finger tight bolts. Begin by double-checking system component alignment for silence and vibration prevention before you tighten fasteners. Finally, use a torque wrench to bolt the twc-to-Muffler/tail pipe assembly components to 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) and tighten hanger bolts to 13 nm (115 inch lbs.).
