  A: The first step to replace a Fuel Injector requires you to relieve fuel pressure. Unplug the Fuel Injector electrical connector prior to extracting its mounting bracket at the Intake Manifold rear position along with bolts from the Intake Manifold bracket. The high pressure and return hoses should be pulled from the fuel pipes before the fuel pipes hold down bracket bolt can be removed. Proceed by taking out the Fuel Rail after removing its three retaining bolts and extracting the fuel injectors . Before fuel injectors mount on the Fuel Rail users should apply a thin coat of motor oil to the o-rings and properly fit the fuel injectors onto the rail. The Fuel Rail installation requires a correct fitting to the Intake Manifold where the three retaining bolts must be tightened to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). The procedure requires installation of the fuel pipes hold down bolt followed by bolt tightening to 25 n.m (19 lb ft), after which the Intake Manifold reinforcement bracket receives installation alongside its two retaining bolts that must be tightened to 25 n.m (19 lb ft). Plug in the electrical connectors to the fuel injectors and put on the scan tool. Click on the ignition switch but leave the engine off then use the scan tool to activate the fuel pump followed by leak inspection and repair procedures.
