How to remove and install the defroster Blend Door Actuator in the HVAC module on 2001 GMC Jimmy?

The defroster actuator, to the bottom left side of the hvac module needs removal of the left side of instrument panelsound insulator and center of instrument panel sound insulator. Remove the vacuum connector from the defroster actuator and remove the actuator rod retaining clip and the actuator rod from the defroster door lever. Pull the defroster actuator out of the hvac module firmly. For installation, you first install the defroster actuator, by ensuring that the retaining tab locks into place, then then attach the actuator rod to the defroster door lever and secure it in place by using and attaching to the actuator rod retaining clip. Reconnect the vacuum connector to the defroster actuator and re-install the center and left side instrument panel sound insulators.
