How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2001 GMC Jimmy?

To replace the manifold absolute pressure (MAP) sensor, first, turn off ignition and disconnect the MAP Sensor harness connector making sure you do not rotate or pry on the sensor, which might harm it and the Intake Manifold. Pull up the MAP Sensor with a slight rocking motion to remove it and also remove the MAP Sensor grommet and throw it away. For installation fasten new MAP Sensor grommet in MAP Sensor, complete connection of MAP Sensor harness connector, install the sensor.
