  A: The replacement of a right Exhaust Manifold starts with disconnecting the battery ground cable and removing the fuel injector sight shield. Detach both the exhaust crossover pipe together with the 3-way Catalytic Converter from the right Exhaust Manifold before removing the egr adapter pipe. The vehicle requires raising and support until completion before the wiring harness and heater hose retaining clips are taken off from the fuel injector sight shield bracket. Removal of right Spark Plug Wires should follow. Engine lift bracket bolt and nut should be taken out first followed by the bracket itself before performing the bracket removal of the fuel injector sight shield. Exhaust Manifold bolts and nuts should be removed while maintaining the bolt that supports the heated Oxygen Sensor in position. Machine the engine toward the front to gain better visibility then disconnect the heated Oxygen Sensor electrical connector and take out the Exhaust Manifold with its gasket and remaining bolt. To proceed with the repair first remove the upper and lower Exhaust Manifold heat shields with the heated Oxygen Sensor and replace Exhaust Manifold studs which show damage. The Exhaust Manifold requires cleaning to inspect it before stud installation when removal occurred together with oxygen heater sensor placement and heat shields on the bottom and top and a fresh Exhaust Manifold Gasket. Start by installing the Exhaust Manifold while placing the bolt near the Oxygen Sensor position before reattaching the heated Oxygen Sensor electrical connector then restoring the engine to its initial position. Fasten the remaining Exhaust Manifold fasteners to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) while installing the fuel injector sight shield bracket along with its required nuts which should be tightened to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). Secure the engine lift bracket using the bolt and nut and tighten them to 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.). The right Spark Plug Wires and wiring harness with heater hose retaining clips require installation onto the fuel injector sight shield bracket. After raising the vehicle you should check for leaks at the egr pipe outlet where it was removed and then install the egr pipe and its bolt with 29 nm (21 ft. Lbs.) torque. First lower down the vehicle while connecting the exhaust crossover pipe to complete installation with the fuel injector sight shield replacement alongside reattaching the negative Battery Cable.
