How to replace the EGR Tube outlet on 2002 Buick Regal?

The replacement of the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) outlet pipe begins with removing the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet pipe when necessary. The first step consists of removing the mounting bolt which secures the egr outlet pipe flange to the Intake Manifold and afterward removing the nut holding the egr outlet pipe to the egr valve adapter pipe assembly. Move the egr valve outlet pipe following the previous steps. The egr valve outlet pipe requires installation first before proceeding. Next install mounting bolt to the Intake Manifold before tightening it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). The second step involves fitting the retaining nut to the egr valve adapter pipe assembly while tightening it to 30 n.m (22 lb ft). Reinstallation of the secondary air injection (AIR) pump outlet pipe should take place when needed.
