How to replace the MAP Sensor on 2002 Buick Rendezvous?

To replace the Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor, you should first, turn OFF the ignition. Unscrew the screws in the bracket where the MAP sensor is attached; untie the electric connector from the MAP sensor and the MAP inlet vacuum hose. Lifting out the MAP sensor from the bracket, align the new MAP sensor in the bracket. Attach the MAP inlet vacuum hose and MAP sensor electrical connector, making sure you follow the Fastener Notice in Service Precautions. Finally, screw and tighten the screws to 3 N.m (27 lb in).
