How to replace the rear wheel speed sensor without traction control on 2002 Chevrolet Camaro?

You need to properly lift and support the car before replacing the rear wheel speed sensor when you do not have traction control. Tear apart the wheel speed sensor electrical connector and eliminate any dirt or debris in the sensor's home and mounting area. Unbolting the wheel speed sensor lets you raise it straight out of the rear axle housing properly. Install the wheel speed sensor in its position within the rear axle by directly inserting it as detailed in the service precautions note. Install the wheel speed sensor bolt with 10 Nm torque torque setting (89 inch lbs.). Rejoin the wheel speed sensor connectors after lowering the vehicle.
