  A: The first procedure when replacing the Fuel Rail assembly should include a reduction of fuel system pressure. Start by disconnecting the outlet resonator from the air cleaner and the bracket holding it. First remove the vacuum hose from the Fuel Pressure Regulator before using the lock release mechanism to pull up the Fuel Injector connector along with a depression of the lock tab to detach it. Subjects the Fuel Pressure Regulator to removal of the fuel feed pipe quick connect fitting combined with the fuel return pipe.
