  A: Disabling the sir system is the process to be initiated before enhancing the inflatable restraint Steering Wheel module coil. Take away the Steering Wheel assembly, tilt lever, and the instrument panel carrier. Pull out the sir wiring harness from the back of the fuse panel and then remove the multi-function lever. Pull the coil assembly retaining clip and scissors the plastic zip tie to release the air bag clock spring wiring harness before removing the coil assembly.
