How to replace the Lash Adjusters on 2002 Chevrolet Monte Carlo?

The process starts by removing the valve Rocker Arm cover then the lower Intake Manifold before extracting the valve rocker arms and pushrods. Before installation replace the valve train parts in a rack according to their original positions after removing lifter guide bolts and the lifter guide. After that, remove the lifters. After application of prelude (GM P/N 1052367 Canadian P/N 992869 or equivalent) to the valve lifters you should put them back in their original positions. Apply threadlock from gm p/n 12345382 or canadian p/n 10953489 or equivalent to the lifter guide bolts before installing them while following a torque sequence to 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). Reinstall the valve rocker arms followed by the pushrods and lower Intake Manifold and engine left side valve Rocker Arm cover while checking for any hidden leaks.
