How to replace the Crankshaft Position Sensor (24X) on 2002 Chevrolet Venture?

Before beginning crankshaft position (CKP) sensor (24X) replacement start by turning off the ignition then removing the serpentine Drive Belt from the Crankshaft Pulley. Lift the vehicle onto a hoist and take off the crankshaft Harmonic Balancer. Before removing the harness use the engine cranking position note to document its path then detach the bolt used to secure the retaining clip before disconnecting the ckp sensor electrical connector. Start by removing the sensor bolts afterward extracting the sensor from its position. Install the 24x ckp sensor by placing it with its bolts while maintaining the original harness route observed during removal steps. Put the harness retaining clip in place with the bolt before tightening its bolts to 10 n.m with an 89 lb in torque. Reconnect the ckp sensor electrical connector while placing the crankshaft balancer back on then lower the vehicle and install the serpentine Drive Belt.
