Apply prelube product gm p/n 1052365 or equivalent to the ends of the push rods and position the 14 mm (5.75 in) length intake valve push rods (yellow) where they originally were situated while installing the 152.5 mm (6.0 in) long exhaust valve push rods (green). The operation calls for prelube application (GM P/N 12345501 or GM P/N 8862586, Canadian P/N 992704 or Canadian P/N 8862586 or equivalent) to the Rocker Arm friction surfaces. Putting in valve rocker arms alongside their bolts should be followed by reinstalling the valve Rocker Arm covers.
