How to service and repair the front brake calipers on 2002 GMC Envoy?

Before servicing and repairing the front brake caliper you must empty all brake fluid and insert clean shop towels into the inner space. Watch out when you use compressed air near the Piston because putting your fingers at risk may lead to severe harm. A gentle puff of air through the Piston should let it move out of the chamber without breaking. Pull both pistons out of the caliper bores before you take away the seals and boots off the pistons making sure not to harm the housing bores. Disconnect and take off both parts of the bleeder valve and its cap from the caliper housing. Use clean denatured alcohol to clean all components of the bleeder valve and caliper. Then dry the item before blowing out the brake fluid passages with filtered compressed air. Fix both pistons and caliper parts when damage shows rusting, damage to surface, or surface erosion. After oiling the new parts with clean brake fluid put the Piston seals in place without turning them in their proper areas. Place the Piston boots first before inserting the pistons and seals into the caliper bores. Place the bleeder valve into the caliper housing while tightening it to 7 nm at the same time attach the bleeder valve cap. End the process by fitting the j 8092 driver handle (J 8092) and j 43885 boot seal installer (J 43885) to put the boot seals in their housing bores.
