  A: Starting the rear door latch replacement begins with raising the window fully while removing the door trim panel. Start by removing the door module as well as the water deflector before proceeding. Press the tabs at the center pivot point of the bell crank then extend them in the outward direction. The inside handle assembly removal will begin with careful frontward prying at the front followed by outward pulling and forward sliding. Users must first disconnect both lock and handle rods from the clip guides followed by disconnection of the outside door handle rod from the door latch retainer clip through the rear access hole on the inner panel. Withdraw the child security lock before you take out the fasteners from the door latch and remove the door latch assembly through its access hole.
