How to replace the front Door Latch Assembly on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

In order to change the latch of the front door, first, position the window up and take the door trim panel out. Then take off the door module and water deflector. Unscrew handle and lock rods and take away door latch assembly. To install, ensure that the latch assembly is installed and the rods are appropriately connected and then reassembled.
