Connecting rod bolt guide set (J 5239) and electronic torque angle meter (J 36660-A). Start by taking out both the spark plugs and the Oil Pan from the worked cylinders. Begin by positioning the serviced connecting rod at bottom dead center (BDC) by turning the Crankshaft before you can remove the Oil Pump bolt followed by the Oil Pump along with its driveshaft. You need to remove both the nuts securing the Crankshaft oil deflector and the deflector piece itself. After nuts are removed from the connecting rod cap one can separate the cap, lower connecting Rod Bearing and keep all original components to assemble again. Lbs.) before proceeding with measurements for connecting rod side clearance. Replace the Oil Pump driveshaft and Oil Pump in that order then apply torque to the Oil Pump bolt at 41 nm (30 ft. Lbs.). The repair process ends with reinstalling spark plugs followed by the Oil Pan while conducting leak and proper oil pressure inspections.
