How to replace the front crankshaft seal on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to replace the front Crankshaft oil seal, one should first remove the Crankshaft balancer without destroying the Crankshaft. Then remove the Crankshaft key from the keyway and using a large screwdriver or similarly tool, pry out the oil seal. Examine the front cover and Crankshaft for scratches. To install, lubricate new oil seal with clean engine oil and install in front cover with lip towards engine using the Crankshaft Seal installer and centering tool (J 35468). Then remount the Crankshaft key into the keyway, before lastly installing the Crankshaft balancer.
