The crankshaft rear oil seal replacement requires transmission removal followed by Flywheel extraction while maintaining the crankshaft's outside diameter's integrity. You should extract the crankshaft rear oil seal by using a flat-bladed tool. The rear main seal installer (J 42067) should be used for new seal installation. Install the transmission by putting back the Flywheel while securing the Flywheel bolts at 53 nm (39 ft. Lbs.) followed by an additional 25-degree tightening.
