2003 Chevrolet Malibu Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to replace the front multifunction turn signal switch on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?
A: When you work on the multifunction turn signal lever you must first turn off the sir and uninstall the cover from the Steering Column. The mounting screw must first be taken out from the multifunction switch to remove the switch from its column position. Detach the electrical wires that connect to the multifunction switch. Place the multifunction switch onto the Steering Column with electrical connectors connected and depress the spring-loaded horn pin when positioning. Carry the multifunction switch to the mounting screw post and tighten it to 4 nm (35 inch lbs.). Reinstall the steering trim cover and turn on the sir system as you test the multifunction switch to see if it operates correctly.
