How to replace the Neutral Safety Switch on 2003 Chevrolet Malibu?

In order to replace the PNP Switch, dissolve the electrical connector and detach the switch assembly. Install the switch and screw the mounting bolts tight then connect the electrical connector with the shift shaft set in the N (Neutral) position. Make sure that the engine is started in P (Park) or N (Neutral) and adjust accordingly.
