How to service the Throttle Position Sensor on 2003 Chevrolet Venture?

To service the Throttle Position Sensor, turn off your ignition and get out the air intake duct. Next, you need to disconnect the evaporative emission (EVAP), purge line, fuel lines, and the throttle position (TP), sensor electrical connector. Bring the tp sensor fasteners; remove them followed by the tp sensor with the o-ring. For installation, mount the o-ring on tp sensor and mount to Throttle Body assembly. Secure the tp sensor with the 2 fasteners, applying a thread-locking compound such as loctite(R) 262, gm p/n #1052624, or an equivalent. Secure the attaching screws with 2 n.m (18 lb in) torques. Reconnect the tp sensor electric connector, connect the evap purge line and fuel lines lastly and install the air intake duct.
