How to replace the A/C Hose on 2004 Buick Century?

The replacement process for the Evaporator tube starts with reflexant recovery and air cleaner removal before relocating the vacuum Brake Booster. After separation of the condenser tube from its support clip you should disconnect the Evaporator tube nut from the condenser tube before removing the Evaporator tube. Remove the accumulator tube block fitting bolt from the Evaporator and pull off the Evaporator tube from the Evaporator device before throwing away the o-ring. The installation process requires new o-ring seals on the Evaporator tube before connecting the Evaporator inlet tube to the condenser tube followed by attaching the Evaporator tube to the Evaporator. The accumulator tube installation should go through the Evaporator block fitting while tightening the accumulator block fitting bolt to 16 n.m (12 lb ft) and the Evaporator tube nut to 27 n.m (20 lb ft). The installation begins with attaching the condenser tube to its support clip then proceeds with the vacuum Brake Booster and finishes with reattaching the air cleaner assembly. To complete the improvement the a/c system needs evacuation and recharging then the system must undergo fitting leak tests using the halogen leak detector j 39400-a.
