  A: Beginning Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring replacement requires first removing Rocker Arm assemblies along with spark plugs. Ordinarily position the engine with its Piston at top dead center of the serviced cylinder to stop valve descent inside the chamber. Insert the Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into the cylinder head while creating compressed air pressure to keep valves secured in position. The valve spring compressor (J 38606) compresses the valve spring before you remove the valve keys and valve cap and valve spring. Apply pressure under the seal's bottom portion to take out the Valve Stem Oil Seal.
