  A: The first step to replacing the Valve Stem Oil Seal and valve spring is to take out the Rocker Arm assemblies and the spark plugs. Turn the engine until the Piston in the servicing cylinder is at the top to keep the valve out of the cylinder. Fit the j 22794 Spark Plug port adapter (J 22794) into the Cylinder Head and supply compressed air into the cylinder so the valves cannot open. With the j 38606 valve spring compressor (J 38606), squeeze the valve spring, and then take out the valve keys, the valve cap, and the valve spring. Lift up the seal from the bottom to take it off the valve stem. To put it in place, place the seal over the valve stem and gently push it onto the guide using only hand pressure and the j 42863. Put the valve stem seal over the valve guide with the j 42863 and then use the j 38606 to put on the valve spring and valve cap, finishing up with the valve keys. Do these procedures for all the valves, then use the j 22794 to release the pressure and take it off the cylinder. The last steps are to put in the Spark Plug and the valve Rocker Arm assemblies.
