How to replace the rear door striker on 2004 Buick Rendezvous?

In order to access the anchor plate, one has to remove the rear quarter lower trim to expose the rear door striker. Incidentally, position the striker then remove the screws, striker, shims and anchor plate. Install the anchor plate, shims, and striker and position them so that they are aligned with the marks, after which the trim should be installed again.
