Draw a grease pencil mark on the front door lock striker location before removing its screws and shims together with the striker. Next, remove the anchor plate. Installation requires starting with the anchor plate before adding the front door lock shims and striker which should be fastened with lock striker screws. Tighten the front door lock striker screws to 24 N.m (18 lb ft) after properly setting it at the pencil-marked position. In case of required adjustments perform changes to the lock striker. Reinstall the center pillar lower trim as the last step of installation.
