Begin the back up lamp switch replacement process by lifting and supporting the vehicle then removing the back up lamp switch electrical connector from the back up lamp switch. Finally remove the back up lamp switch assembly before moving forward. The new back up lamp switch should be installed only through a socket in order to protect the switch assembly. Install the back up lamp switch and tighten it to 18 Nm (13 ft. lbs.)Connect the back up lamp switch electrical connector to the back up lamp switch before lowering your vehicle.
