    A: The first step to replace the Power Steering Cooler (FE1) requires removing the intake air resonator followed by hose disconnect and cooler retaining bolt removal. The power steering cooler needs to be extracted from the vehicle after disconnecting its retaining bolt. To install the new power steering cooler place it within the vehicle followed by bolt installation on the retaining component which requires 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.) torque. First disconnect the power steering cooler hoses then reinstall the intake air resonator before finishing the installation. The power steering system needs bleeding as the final step after installation.
